Trump, the Emoluments Clause, and Stealing Tax Payer Money

Less than a month after Trump announced the 2020 G7 Summit would be held at his Doral property, and then, due to severe backlash, changed his decision, the Republican National Committee (RNC), has decided to hold their winter meeting at Doral. One way or the other, Trump is going to get paid.

After pushback from Democrats, Republicans, and the media, Trump cancels his plans to host the G7 Summit at his own property. Hosting the G7 Summit would have brought significant profits to the Trump Organization.

Trump immediately began playing the innocent victim.

President Trump awards himself the 2020 G7 Summit. The 2020 summit will be held at Trump Doral golf resort outside Miami, the White House announced. This will direct millions of US tax payer money and foreign money directly into his own business and his own pocket. This is the newest and clearest violation of the Constitution's Emoluments Clause.

Trump continues to use his resorts, golf courses, and hotels to steal US tax payer money. This time, he is stealing money from the military.

Pence had a scheduled visit to Ireland to attend meetings in Dublin. Pence decided to stay at a Trump owned hotel, 180 miles away, on the other side of the country, sending more tax payer money into Trump's pocket.

While in Ireland, VP Pence is staying in Trump's golf resort. Which is in Doonbeg (red pin).

His official duties are in Dublin, which is literally the opposite side of the country.

Attorney General William Barr has decided to throw a family Christmas party. So of course, he picks a Trump hotel to host his party, sending his master $30,000.

Greg Pence, fresham congressman, spent over $20,000 of campaign funds at Trump properties. After being questioned by USA Today, Pence's campaign filed an amended FEC report to make these expenditures appear legal.

While waiting for the approval/rejection of a proposed Sprint/T-Mobile merger, T-Mobile executives spend $195,000 at a Trump owned hotel. T-Mobile is "confident" it's not a big deal. Others are more honest.

Lobbyists funded by Saudi Arabia and representing Saudi Arabia's interests, spent over $270,000 at a Trump hotel. Within a month of Trump being elected, they reserved over 500 nights of rooms at his Washington hotel. The lobbyists were trying to protect Saudi Arabia from being financially punished for their role in 9/11.
